Exposing the skin to blue light helps to awaken and stimulate fibroblast activity and thus the synthesis of collagen and elastin. This encourages the formation of singlet oxygen that destroys the bacteria responsible for acne. Light absorbed by melanin causes pigmentation to fade.  Light Angel’s ability to restructure the dermo-epidermal junction is gradual and sustainable.  If not treated properly, acne can result in permanent scarring.
