LED LIGHT THERAPY?
Many celebrities owe their beauty to LED light therapy, relying on the underlying technology and photomodulation it offers to help stay looking young with perfect skin. Light exposure is all you need to retain a youthful appearance and natural beauty replacing cosmetic surgery.
WHAT IS BIO-PHOTOMODULATION (CELL REGENERATION)?
Bio photomodulation is also referred to as cell regeneration through LED light therapy. LED therapy is a scientifically proven method that uses light of specific wavelengths to selectively energise and stimulate the metabolic activity of cells, it's 100% natural!
The degree to which the light emitted by the LED lamp penetrates and effects the collagen in the tissue depends on its wavelength, that is to say its colour. Red light penetrates deeply into the tissue, note that infrared radiation is invisible but also penetrates deeply.
Orange, yellow and green light penetrates successively less deeply. When light penetrates a cell, the cell will "resonate" and the absorbed light energy will cause chemical and physical changes that stimulate cell activity. This is called ‘photomodulation'.
Action: Its stimulating action awakens the fibroblasts (skin cells) and increases their production of collagen and elastin.
Reduces lines and wrinkles, eliminates red stretch marks and greatly reduces white stretch marks, tightens pores.
Action: Ideal treatment for redness. It improves blood and lymph circulation and muscle tone.
It has a draining and detoxifying effect.
Boosts the immune system.
Action: It directly and effectively tackles the bacteria responsible for acne without any side effects. The light source radiates sufficient energy to improve healing. Blue light is also used to whiten teeth.
Treats acne, heals, and purifies.
Action: It is selectively absorbed by pigment spots and helps to make them fade. It increases energy levels, decreases stress and generally improves the complexion.
Fading of pigment spots, improved oxygenation, and hydration.
The activity of LED light varies with its colour (its wavelength). Light penetrating the skin acts directly on the cells by stimulating synthesis. The cell uses molecules that mimic the effects of a natural growth factor. Each condition responds to a specific colour. It is the combination of light wavelengths and the energy absorbed by the cell that contributes to the therapeutic effect of LED treatment.
HOW DOES LED LIGHT WORK?
As in the process of plant photosynthesis, the light emitted by LED (Light Emitting Diode) photomodulation stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the dermis. It not only acts on aging and damaged skin, but also inhibits
collagenase activity, which is the enzyme responsible for the degradation of collagen and the acceleration of the raging process.
IS LED LIGHT PAINFUL?
No, you feel no pain and experience no redness. A session lasts about 30 minutes, but it is the accumulation of repeated sessions that achieve the desired result.
FOR WHAT TYPE OF SKIN IS LED LIGHT RECOMMENDED?
For all skin types (sensitive skin, tanned, white or black) which would benefit from improved appearance, tone, skin texture
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LED LIGHT?
This is a new non-invasive technique that has no aggressive effect on the skin and is not painful. Therefore, it does not affect your normal daily activities or mark the exposed skin.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
It all depends on the reason for treatment (wrinkles, acne, redness). Two sessions per week for four to six weeks, then three maintenance sessions per year is the typical treatment plan.
WHAT IS PHOTOPORATION?
Photoporation is the opening of the transient micro pores in the outer layer of the skin and cell membrane by applying light emitted by the LED Light Angel. This conveys active ingredients applied to the skin using a gelloid mask
deeper into the skin.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?
LED light is applied from a distance of a few centimetres to the cleansed skin of the area to be treated for up to half an hour, depending on the selected light. Wearing eye protection is mandatory. There is no need to avoid exposure to the sun during the duration of the treatment.
